In a method for cleaning a laminating roll 2 used for laminating a plurality of sheets of base materials 1 by passing the base material 1 inpregnated with resin by laminating a plurality of sheets thereof, a solvent 8 is fed to a resin 7 stuck part of an outer periphery of the laminating roll 2, and the resin 7 permeated with solvent 8 is scratched off with a doctor bar 3 arranged on the outer periphery of the laminating roll 2. Thereby, the laminating roll 2 is cleaned. When a viscosity of the resin 7 stuck to the laminating roll 2 is high, the viscosity can be lowered with the solvent 8. Further, through the resin 7 stuck to the laminating roll 2 becomes solid by drying, the resin can be dissolved or swollen with the solvent 8.
