Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for cleaning and sterilizing egg shells or the like by the sterilization effect of neutral electrolytic water.
There is provided a method for cleaning and sterilizing shelled raw eggs, including cleaning and sterilizing egg shells with approximately neutral electrolytic water having a pH of 5.8 to 8.6 and a residual chlorine concentration of not less than 1.5 mg/L.
