PURPOSE: To automatically performing the bond coating of the predetermined part of an article, by a method wherein the holder of a shrinkable rubber tube deformed and held in a bellow shape is inserted into the predetermined part of the article and, thereafter, the bellow shape of the rubber tube is relieved to separate the rubber tube from a core body.

CONSTITUTION: A holder is externally inserted and arranged on the connecting parts of power cables 4, 4' and one tongue piece 3' is cut and removed or folded back so as to be flushed with the outer peripheral surface of a core body 2 to relieve and remove the bellow shape of a rubber tube 1. By this relieving, core force acted in order to deform the rubber tube 1 into the bellow shape is reversely acted and, as a result, the rubber tube 1 is gradually separated from the core body 2 and automatically bonded around the connecting parts of the cables 4, 4' by the own shrinking force. Subsequently, the rubber tube 1 bonded around the connecting part of the cables 4, 4' is further covered with a hollow body 7.
