Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a dampproofing agent to the inside surface of a recessed groove for connecting a floor material with efficiency and without contaminating other parts.
SOLUTION: A coating roll consists of a disc R and an axis P. The upper surface of the disc R of the part thereof inserted into a recessed groove is inclined descending towards a head part thereof. Therefore, since a clearance (0.3-0.5 mm) between the upper surface of the disc R and the inside surface of the upper part of the recessed groove is widen as it goes to the head part of the disc R, a dampproofing agent fed enters from a clearance (0.1-0.2 mm) between the head part of the disc R and the inside surface of the upper part of the recessed groove and flows into the recessed groove, allowing the agent to be surely applied. When the part which is not inserted into the recessed groove of the rear of the disc R is provided with a downward slope from the axis P toward the outer peripheral part to form the disc R into a top, a surplus of the dampproofing agent excessively fed goes along the axis P from the slope without going around the rear of the floor material and is recovered in the lower part of the axis P.
