Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method by which an operation to coil a wire shaped body such as a metal wire after the wire is drawn can be carried out profitably to plural wire shaped bodies.
CONSTITUTION: Each of wire shaped bodies 4 obtained from plural wire drawing stages is introduced to a take-up area 6 where take-up reels 3 at least equal in number to these wire shaped bodies 4 are proximate mutually in good order and take-up operations are concentrated by conducting a series of operations consisting of coiling of the wire shaped bodies 4 to the take-up reels 3, locking of the ends of the wire shaped bodies 4 to the take-up reels 3 and exchanging of the take-up reels 3 after they are taken up with vacant take-up reels 3, in this take-up area 6.
