Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save the labor for the collection, compression and packaging of waste cotton generated from a spinning frame and to prevent the generation of dust by changing the speed of a waste cotton transfer belt in two stages according to the operation state of a compression packaging mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer belt 4 for waste cotton W is driven at a prescribed speed during the reception of waste cotton with a compression packaging mechanism 3 to transfer and supply the waste cotton. In the compressing operation of the compression packaging mechanism, the speed is slowed down to accumulate the waste cotton on the transfer belt. When the compression packaging mechanism is returned to the receiving state, the accumulated waste cotton is supplied to the compression packaging mechanism.
