Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition and to provide a method for effectively inhibition fibrosis and scar formation.
SOLUTION: Anionic polymers effectively inhibit cell invasion associated with unfavorable healing process and the inhibiting effect of the anionic polymers on cell invasion is related to anionic density of the polymer. Based on such information, the anionic polymer is selected from the group cosisting of dextran sulfate, alginate and pentosan polysulfate.
