Abstract:
To provide a method and system for a gas booster, preferably used together with hydrogen.SOLUTION: A linear actuator may provide compression in first and second compression vessels. A liner of the compression vessel may be arranged in compression stress so as not to expand any crack to be formed. The compression stress may be added using at least a shrink fitting process or wire wrapping process. The compression stress helps an inside liner resist fatigue and cracks due to pressure circulation and corrosion caused by compressing material in the compression vessel. Consequently, a chamber jacket is also protected from wearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
