Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operating efficiency by a method wherein a shield excavator is installed upward into an underground cavity, segments are assembled in the excavator and a pit is constructed, and the segments are also built up on a ground section and a ventilating tower is built.
CONSTITUTION: A shield excavator is mounted upward into an underground cavity, segments 2 are assembled in the excavator, and an assembled segment 2 group is given reaction and the excavator is lifted. The segments 2 are further erected at the rear end of the excavator according the quantity of the excavator lifted and a pit is built at that time, the excavator is exposed on the ground, and the segments 2 are built up to a section upper than a ground surface. The assembled segment 2 group is given reaction, and the shield excavator is elevated in the vertical direction on the ground, thus constructing a ventilating tower.
