To continuously evaporate a viscous solution and a suspension having the adhesion tendency by transferring a liquid material flowing out from a multiphase spiral tube to a gas space having a flow cross-sectional area prescribed times larger than that of the spiral tube above an agitated bed and further discharging the gas phase and the solid phase.
A suspension or a solution is fed to a pump 2 as shown by the arrow 1 and is preheated by a heat exchanger 3 and also is discharged into a spiral tube 5 by a throttle valve 4. In the spiral tube 5, the solution or the suspension flows to the wall part under action of gas flowing at high speed to further evaporate the suspension or the solution. And the viscous or adhesive suspension or the solution thus evaporated is sprayed to the agitated bed in an agitation vessel 7 and is evaporated to a dried material. At this time, a gas space above the agitated bed has a flow cross-sectional area by at least 200 times larger than that of the spiral tube 5 and further the gas phase and the solid phase are discharged from the gas phase or the floor.
