PURPOSE: To provide a continuously using method for tundish, in which the oxide of the remained material in the tundish is prevented and the quality of molten steel is improved in a continuous casting.
CONSTITUTION: The tundish 1 is constituted with a tundish body 2 and a tundish cover 3, and in the bottom surface 4 of the tundish body 2, an immersion nozzle 6 and a discharging nozzle 7 fitting a flapper cover 8 are formed. The surrounding bottom surface 4a formed the immersion nozzle 6 is formed at higher than the surrounding bottom surface 4b forming the discharging nozzle 7 by the prescribed height and a gentle sloped inclining bottom surface 4c is formed in between the bottom surface 4a around the immersion nozzle 6 and the bottom surface 4b around the discharging nozzle 7. In the tundish cover 3, a gas flowing nozzle 9 is formed, and in the continuous casting, after pouring the molten steel from the immersion nozzle 6 and discharging the remained material from the discharging nozzle 7, or since the pouring stage of the molten steel, the inert gas flows from the gas pouring nozzle 9 into the tundish 1.
