PURPOSE: To set an indoor fan to a stop mode or in an ultrafine air flow rate so as not to give a customer an anxiety relative to the operation of a stop switch by lowering the capacity of a capacity variable type compressor and the air flow rate of an indoor fan, when a stop switch is turned on and bypassing a high-voltage pressure of a freezing cycle to a low-voltage pressure.
CONSTITUTION: In the space cooling mode, a cycle where a coolant discharged form a compressor 2 is fed back to the compressor 2 via a route from a four way valve 3, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, a pressure reducing/element 5, and indoor heat exchanger 6, the four way valve 3, and an accumulator 7. For example, in the case where the compressor 2 is operated at 80Hz, when a stop switch 16 is turned on, the operational frequency is lowered at a variable speed of 5Hz/2sec. from 80Hz, and the operation of indoor and outdoor fans 13 and 14 is stopped, and further a bypass valve 10 is opened to keep balance of high and low-voltage pressures. In this manner, the indoor heat exchanger 6 on the low-voltage side is not frozen by the stop of the fan 13 since the pressure of the indoor heat exchanger 6 is raised by the pressure balance, and since the operational sound of the compressor 2 is not heard, the anxiety of the customer with respect to whether or not the stop switch 16 operates normally, can be eliminated.
