To provide a method for controlling an at least partially electrically operable supercharger for a motor vehicle (1) having an internal combustion engine (2).SOLUTION: During a stop state of the motor vehicle (1) in start-stop operation, a switch-on condition for the motor vehicle (1) is determined by means of at least one state variable of the motor vehicle (1), where the switch-on condition predicts a start of the motor vehicle (1) and the loader is activated depending on the switch-on condition of the motor vehicle (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
