Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the formation of a good product by synchronizing the timings of the pouring command in a die casting machine and the pouring start in a molten metal supplying device.
CONSTITUTION: The time lapsed in a die clamping process in the die casting machine from a point in time of a movement in the molten metal supplying device as a reference is measured with a die clamping time measuring means 10. Successively, the time lapsed from the point in time of the movement as the reference to the pouring start after completing the inclination while travelling a ladle in the molten metal supplying device is measured with a molten metal supplying time measuring means 12. Further, these measured times are calculated for the comparison with a comparison calculating means 14 to obtain the difference in time. When the difference in time exists, the adjusting time in the molten metal supplying device is automatically corrected with a time adjusting means 16. Further, the increased time based on the descent of molten metal surface is calculated with an increased time calculating means 15 and automatically corrected with the time adjusting means 16 to synchronize the pouring timing. By this method, at the time of changing the forming condition, the adjustment of a timer in a control unit is not necessary but the timings of the die clamping and the molten metal pouring are automatically synchronized and the waiting time is eliminated, and by shortening the cycle time, the generation of a solidified material is restrained.
