PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an automatic door so as to start a usual automatic opening and closing movement after manually moving the door by a specified length if the automatic door is stopped at somewhere by the trouble of a human body detector and to solve the impassable state at once, and to prevent a failure accident due to violent collision of the door manually moved by strong power with a door stopper.
SOLUTION: In an automatic door, which is driven according to a specified opening and closing operation pattern P by a motor controlled by an automatic controller, a transition amount m measured by the automatic controller is reset to zero, even if the door is stopped anywhere at the time of the trouble of a human body detector. When the door is manually opened O3 from a stop position E3 by a door transition reference value m1, m≥m1 is detected, so that the automatic controller generates a door opening signal to control the motor, starting a usual automatic opening and closing operation and stopping it at a door closing position P4, which makes m zero. After a while, an automatic door closing operation begins, and the door returns to a door closing position and stops at the position, thereby resetting m calculated from the door opening position P4, to zero.
