Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the clinker cooler that can keep the feed rate of clinker constant and provide a clinker cooler.
SOLUTION: In the method of controlling the work speed of the grates in the clinker cooler in which the rotary kiln controlled its rotation number at a constant value discharges clinkers on the conveying way comprising a plurality of grates that are connected in series and can be reciprocated and the clinker is cooled down by heat-exchanging the exhausted clinker and the clinker on the conveying way with the air in an air chamber for feeding the air outside, at first the data on the pressure in the air chamber, the electric power fed to the rotary kiln, and the raw materials to be fed into the rotary kiln that are input by the operator are read into the computer (step S10, 20, 30), then the work speed of the grates is controlled based on the data of the pressure in the air chamber, the power fed to the rotary kiln and the raw materials (step S40, 50).
