Abstract:

To provide a method of controlling a double disk refiner capable of detecting the trouble brought by contacting a rotary blade with a stationary blade, i.e., a metal touch and optimizing the operating conditions by the signal generated as a result thereof.

This method for controlling the double disk refiner for beating pulp comprises detecting the vibrations generated by contacting of the rotary blade 1 and the stationary blade A (2) or the stationary blade B (3) by a vibration sensor 4 installed to a case 16 of a double disk refiner and increasing the spaces between the rotary blade 1 and the stationary blade A (2) and the stationary blade B (3), thereby controlling the double disk refiner is achieved by contacting the rotary blade 1 and the stationary blade A (2) or the stationary blade B (3).
