NEW MATERIAL: Antibodies which can be bonded to an antigen on the surface of a tissue-specific endothelial cell with a molecular weight of approximately 58,000-69,000 daltons which can inhibit bonding of leukocyte to the endothelial cell.
USE: Used in immunotherapeutic method for autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and chronic rheumatism.
PROCESS: E.g. a lymph node of a BALA/c mouse is sampled and cut into small pieces and lymphocyte is separated to collect an interstitial ingredient, which is made to act to collagenase to obtain interstitial cells. Then, these are administered to Wistar rats to immunize them and after final immunization is performed, spleen cells are sampled and after they are fused with murine myeloma cells, they are cultured on a HAT medium to obtain hybridoma. In addition, after this is cloned by the limiting dilution method, it is cultured to obtain a monoclonal antibody inhibiting bonding of leukocyte to the endothelial cell.
