Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an injection molding press capable of enhancing the controllability of the speed of a molten resin discharged from a nozzle.
SOLUTION: An injection pressure corresponding to each channel cross-sectional area is detected by repeating injection molding in a specific injection speed while the channel cross-sectional area of the nozzle is changed stepwise in advance, and the relation between the channel cross-sectional area of the nozzle and the detected injection pressure is obtained. A graph showing the relation is approximated by two lines and its intersection point is obtained. The channel cross-sectional area corresponding to the obtained intersection point is defined as an optimum channel cross-sectional area and it is utilized for the subsequent injection molding.
