Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability and stability during control of the number of revolutions of a drainage pump by simultaneously controlling the gear shift operation rods of a plurality of variable speed fluid coupling in such a way to input a control signal to a single control motor.
CONSTITUTION: The output rotary shaft 3A of a reduction gear 3 is coupled to the main shaft 2A of a drainage pump 2, first and second variable speed fluid couplings 9 and 10 are located in a series between the input rotary shaft 3B of the reduction gear 3 and the output rotary shaft 6A of a prime mover 6 consisting of a diesel engine. The gear shift operation rod 71 of each of the first and second variable speed fluid couplings 9 and 10 is connected to the output rotary shaft 10A of a single control motor 10 through a power transmission mechanism, and float pipes 70 coupled to the two gear shift operation rods 71 are simultaneously moved forward and backward by the same amount.
