Abstract:
To provide a technique for controlling a pile loom, capable of controlling the weight of a pile woven fabric by controlling the consumption of a pile warp yarn within a proper range by a more simplified system.
A tolerance of a value corresponding to the consumption of the pile warp yarn (2) is previously set in the pile loom (1), and the value corresponding to the consumption of the pile warp yarn (2) is measured during the pile weaving period. When the measured value corresponding to the consumption of the pile warp yarn (2) deviates from the tolerance, a weaving condition parameter corresponding to the pile weight is corrected in the direction of approaching the target value of the weight of the pile woven fabric (7).
