Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the rod position control of a stepping cylinder following a position type control command by a simple constitution at an extremely high responsiveness without generating out-of-step by mitigating damping oscilla tion generated after arrival at an object position. CONSTITUTION:In a two-phase pulse motor 8 constituted of equally arranging two pairs of magnetic poles A, A, and B, B on the periphery of a rotor 80, the rotor 80 rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow, and when the rotor 80 approaches the magnetic poles A, A to be the final object positions, the magnetic poles B, B are excited for a short time so as to apply reverse rotation and damping force in the direction shown by a dushed line arrow is applied to the rotor 80. Consequently the rotor 80 approaches the object position in the sufficiently decelerated state and is quickly settled without generating damping oscillation.
