Abstract:
PURPOSE: To convert a light hydrocarbon consisting essentially of a paraffin into a lower olefin and a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon in high yield.
CONSTITUTION: Catalytic cracking is carried out by using a zeolite selected from ZSM-5s' and ZSM-11 having the ratio of SiO3/Al2O3 of 150-300 as a catalyst.
