Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cooling method of a quenching member, by which the productivity is improved by improving the working efficiency and the producing cost can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The base end part of a core bar 21 is fixed to a rod 23 of a hydraulic cylinder 22. The core bar 21 is raised/lowered in the axial direction by driving the hydraulic cylinder 22. The supply of oil into a hydraulic chamber is executed by opening a solenoid valve to supply the oil through a pipe 24 or 25. A digital pressure sensor 3 for oil pressure is arranged in the pipe 24. The oil pressure in the hydraulic chamber of the hydraulic cylinder 22 is detected at the time of lowering the core bar 21. It takes about 1sec from a point of time when turning on the lowering excitation of the solenoid valve to a point of time when reaching the lowering end of the core bar 21. Then, since the detected value of the pressure sensor 3, at the point of time after the lapse of time of 0.5sec from the point of time when turning on the lowering excitation of the solenoid valve, is about 6kgf/cm2 in the case of inserting the core bar 21 into an annular body 100 and about 5kgf/cm2 in the case of inserting no core rod into the annular body 100, and detecting value of the pressure sensor 3 is set to 5.3kgf/cm2.
