Title:
METHOD OF CULTIVATION OF EUGLENA CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6137092
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To raise protein content ratio in cells and to increase yield of cells, by using a medium having pH and a dissolved oxygen concentration in specific ranges, cultivating Euglena cells with specific light irradiation intensity.
CONSTITUTION: Euglena cells are cultivated by the use of a medium having 1.8W 6.5pH and 1W10ppm dissolved oxygen concentration with 1,000W10,000 luxes light irradiation intensity. The wavelength of the light irradiation is preferably 600W700nm, and the temperature of the medium solution is preferably 20W34°C.
