Abstract:
PURPOSE: To conduct the culture of anaerobic bacteria or the like with a reduced volume of the medium so that they form their colonies separately one another by culturing the bacteria in a tubular culture vessel.
CONSTITUTION: The culture medium containing the bacterium cells is introduced into the tubular culture vessel having such an inner diameter as their colonies do not overlap one another (preferably a teflon or glass tube of 0.5 to 2 mm diameter and 5 to 50cm length) and the tube is sealed at both of their ends.
