Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce spores of a microorganism, belonging to the genus Fusarium and utilizable as a microbial material for controlling disease injury or an inoculation source for disease injury tolerance assay in high yield at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: Liquid culture of the microorganism is carried out in a culture medium containing molasses (preferably 0.5-2.0%) as a principal ingredient in the culture medium and further a nitrogen source (0.1-0.3%) and a carbon source (0.5-3.0%) added thereto.
