PURPOSE: To efficiently and easily execute continuous bending to a long material by working with bender unit after cutting the long material arranging the tip parts fed from a feeding part through bending rollers in a vertical type bender.

CONSTITUTION: A continuous bending apparatus 10 for long material is constituted by arranging the vertical type bender 14 setting plural bender units 20 composed of center rollers 22 and the bending rollers 24 at right and left sides of a cutter 12 and the feeding part 16 providing stocker and feeding rollers. In the above apparatus 10, the several long materials 18 are fed to the vertical type bender 14 from the feeding part 16 through the feeding rollers. Theses long materials 18 are fed by rotating the bending roller 24 in each bender unit (20-1) to (20-3) and abutted on a stopper 26 to arrange the tip parts. After that, the long materials 18 are reversely fed by holding with a clamp 28 to cut these to the prescribed length with a cutter 12. Successively, each bending roller 24 is turned around the center roller 22 to execute the necessary times of bending work to the long material 18.
