Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the troubles caused by air or gas in the fibrous suspension by using a substitute pump that is equipped with a unit that can remove the gas and air from the fibrous suspension instead of the pulp suspension transport pump in the pulp-producing process.
CONSTITUTION: A substitute pump equipped with a unit that removes air and gas from the pulp suspension is set between the several steps for pulp production, namely evaporation, digestion, washing, beaching, deaeration and the like. In a preferred embodiment, a feeder 100, for example, an inducer or a propeller is set inside the pump inlet 102, as this substitute pump.
