Abstract:
To provide a method for preventing wastewater generated in a dechlorination process of PCBs from being discharged from a treatment facility.
A method for treating wastewater containing polychlorobiphenyls generated in a dechlorination process or substances polluted with polychlorobiphenyls includes a process in which the wastewater is heated to be evaporated or concentrated, and organic substances contained in the wastewater are thermally decomposed.
