Title:
METHOD FOR DECOMPOSING POLYMER SUBSTANCE AND METHOD FOR CHEMICAL RAW MATERIAL PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3855006
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for constructing a new circulation type organic chemical industry, so to speak, polymer cascade (polymer recycling industry), with which a polymer compound is not a final product of the organic chemical industry and a synthetic material is produced by using the polymer compound as an industrial raw material to produce a useful organic compound.
SOLUTION: This method for decomposing a polymer substance is characterized in that a part or the whole of molecular chains of the polymer substance is subjected to an oxidative decomposition reaction in an inert gas by using a nitrogen oxide and cleft to decompose the polymer substance. The nitrogen oxide is nitrogen dioxide and/or dinitrogen tetraoxide, the inert gas is supercritical carbon dioxide and the polymer substance is preferably at least one kind selected from an addition polymerization type polymer compound, a polyaddition type powder compound, a condensation polymerization type polymer compound, an addition condensation type polymer compound or these waste polymers or a petroleum high-boiling fraction.
