Title:
METHOD FOR DECORATING VIRTUAL WORLD MODEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3285570
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a host computer to operate or expand intelligently a structure constructed by a user by providing a substantial interface allowing a user to prepare and operate a virtual object model simply by constructing a physical structure.
SOLUTION: A certain three-dimensional structure 400 is formed by connecting an optional number of blocks with one another. The geometrical shape of the structure 400 is decided by using a message path designation protocol. About low level details of the protocol, the protocol operates in three stages on a high level. In stage 1 (410), connectivity is decided, in stage 2 (420), plug jack connection relation is decided, and in stage 3 (430), a connection database, e.g. is transmitted to a host computer 480, i.e., is subjected to 'drain'. A procedure (499) having the three stags simultaneously operates in various blocks. After the three stages are completed, the blocks go into a process R (440) (R representing path designation).
