Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a method for purifying and separating a reactional product in which an inhibitor for dehydrogenating reaction produced in a dehydrogenating reactional process in a raw material for the dehydrogenation can be removed in a reactional system.
CONSTITUTION: A dehydrogenating reactor composed of a reactional column 21 containing an evaporating part 25, distillation trays 22 and 24 and a catalyst bed 23 and a refluxing cooling part 30 for a vapor is charged with a raw material, which is then evaporated. The evaporated vapor is then passed through the reactional column 21 containing the evaporating trays and the catalyst bed, then cooled and liquefied in the refluxing cooling part 30. Part or the total amount thereof is refluxed to the reactional column 21. The dehydrogenating aromatization of a condensed polycyclic compound which has hitherto been difficult according to a conventional method can be carried out in a high yield which is conventionally unexpectable with hardly any deterioration in the catalyst.
