Title:
METHOD OF DEMOLISHING REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3197181
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method of demolishing a reinforced concrete structure which restrains noise and vibration which occurring for a long time and which can accordingly be used for an area crowded with residences by adjusting a voltage adapted to be applied between electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: A demolishing hole 4 is drilled in a concrete part 1 up to a predetermined reinforce 2 which is partly exposed so as to be used as one 5 of electrodes, and the other one 7 of electrodes, having a diameter larger than that of the reinforcement 2 is inserted into the demolishing hole 4, being opposed to the electrode 5 while water 8 is filled in the hole 4. Voltage is repeatedly applied between both electrodes 5, 7 so as to melt and evaporate the reinforcement 2, and impacts caused by discharged energy successively break concrete 13 with which the reinforcement 2 is covered, and after cutting the reinforcement 2, the remaining concrete part 1 is broken so as to demolish the structure 3.
