Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and adequately realize a circular polarization radio reflective attenuator for suppressing the reflection of circular polarization radio waves. SOLUTION: The method of designing a circular polarization radio reflective attenuator (radio absorber 30) determines values of parameters respectively varying complex reflection coefficients of the radio reflective attenuator on transverse electric waves (TE waves with electric field vectors perpendicular to an incident plane), and complex reflection coefficients of the radio reflective attenuator on transverse magnetic waves (TM waves with magnetic field vectors perpendicular to the incident plane), so that the absolute values of means over the complex reflection coefficients of the attenuator are less than desired values.
