Abstract:
To provide a new measurement system that makes it possible to perform high-sensitivity measurement without requiring a dedicated facility, environment, knowledge and technology.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for detecting a detection substance in a sample, the method including a step for measuring, with an image sensor, a change of fluorescence intensity of the conjugate of a detection substance locally concentrated in the sample by electrophoresis or dielectriophorsis and a detection substance recognition material, the detection substance recognition material being labeled with a fluorescent substance that emits fluorescence in a specific wavelength and specifically recognizing and binding to the detection substance, the sample being present in a detection cell with an electrode provided on the bottom inside of the detection cell. Said method includes: (1) providing a transparent insulating film on the image sensor and measuring fluorescence; (2) providing the image sensor so as to be in contact with the bottom outside of the detection cell and measuring fluorescence; (3) providing a slit having anisotropy similar to the electrode on the image sensor and measuring fluorescence, with the electrode having anisotropy in a direction X and a direction Y; or (4) irradiating excitation light from the bottom of the detection cell, providing the image sensor on a side surface of the detection cell, and measuring fluorescence.SELECTED DRAWING: None
