Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING FLUORESCENT IMAGE, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXAMINING DNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3729043
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that conventionally treatments of many samples, such as a future mass examination or the like, become impossible due to the requirement of the time for examining in DNA detection for examining one spot and is difficult to accurately and rapidly detect a sample made of many pixels of high resolution and with high sensitivity.
SOLUTION: The method for detecting a fluorescent image comprises the steps of simultaneously irradiation of multiple spots or sheet-like excitation light beams on the samples, relatively moving the exciting lights and the samples, and simultaneously detecting the lights by a photomultiplier, capable of counting photons of multi-channels. The method further comprises the step of constituting a fluorescent image from the obtained data. Thus, since the method detects over a wide dynamic range with high sensitivity, detection of counting of photons and the detection of analog integration are switched according to conditions.
