To provide a method for detecting a liquid droplet jetting amount of a liquid droplet jetting head, which method reduces a cost of a weight measuring part and measures a jetted weight of liquid droplets jetted from a liquid droplet jetting head with a high degree of accuracy.

One weighing unit 74 is provided on a detecting unit 70 so as to be movable along the Y axis direction on a moving table 71, and flashing recovery pedestals 73 capable of arranging on a moving trajectory of the weighing unit 74 is provided on the detecting unit 70. Weight measurement of jetting liquid droplets from each liquid jetting head is carried out by moving the weighing unit 74 to a position right under a carriage when each carriage is positioned in a working region. The other carriages are let to conduct flashing operation by arranging the flashing recovery pedestals 73 right under the carriages. Thus, a jetted weight of liquid droplets of each head of all carriages can be measured with a weighing unit 74. In addition, weight measurement of the jetting liquid droplets at a drawing position can reduce errors.
