Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING NUCLEIC ACID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0698797
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an improving method in which problem of reassociation of a nucleic acid is eliminated, mainly in a hybridization reaction in a liquid phase method.

CONSTITUTION: In a method for detecting existence of target arrangement in a nucleic acid sample by examining whether hybridization reaction of nucleic acid with a probe exists or not, this method for detecting nucleic acid is characterized by, as necessary, denaturing the nucleic acid in the sample from double- stranded chain to simple-stranded chain, carrying out nucleic hybridization reaction under conditions where other nucleotide chain having a sequence complementary to either one nucleotide chain having target sequence which exists as a nucleic acid sample is substantially fewer than either one nucleotide chain or the nucleotide chain does not exist.
