Abstract:

To provide a specific gene capable of being detected simply and in a high sensitivity without requiring pre-treatments such as the separation-purification, etc. of nucleic acids in a test specimen, and more concretely, a method for detecting a specific virus or specific microorganism.

The method for detecting the specific gene is provided by comprising: a first process of preparing a tubular DNA-immobilized carrier by immobilizing a capture DNA strand on a surface-treated insoluble carrier; a second process of preparing a gene-dissolved solution by dissociating the microorganism-originated gene or virus-originated gene from the test specimen, in the test specimen; a third process of adding the gene-dissolved solution on the DNA-immobilized carrier, hybridizing the capture DNA strand with a DNA strand or RNA strand in the gene-dissolved solution and separating a DNA strand fragment or RNA strand fragment; and a fourth process of directly amplifying the DNA strand fragment or RNA strand fragment on the DNA-immobilized carrier.
