Abstract:
To provide a method for rapidly and selectively detecting a vero toxin-producing strain for Escherichia coli.
This method for detecting vero toxin gene comprises the detection by the microchip capillary electrophoresis using a primer specifically amplifying vero toxin 1 (VT1) gene and/or a primer specifically amplifying vero toxin 2 (VT2) gene.
