Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fucose determination method shorted in an enzymatic reaction time and applicable also for automatic analyzer.
CONSTITUTION: The method for determining L-fucose by determining reduced amount of NAD or NADP or produced amount of NADH or NADPH is carried out by reacting L-fucose in a sample with L-fucose dehydrogenase in the presence of (1) NAD or NADP and (2) phosphate ion, ammonium ion or pyrophosphate ion.
