Abstract:
PURPOSE: A vertical mill and a method for determining the shape of a crushing face are provided to guarantee high crushing efficiency and prevent the congestion of material. CONSTITUTION: The height(H1) of an outside portion(22) of a table-opposed face(21) is determined to be a value by which material at an intersecting point(P) rises above the outside portion(22) by a centrifugal force to be cut and discharged. If this value is satisfied, the shape of a crushing face is determined in a manner that the radiuses(Rr1,Rout1,Rin1) of a roller outer peripheral face(20) and the table-opposed face(21) becomes larger in the above order, and an inner gap( in1) becomes smaller and an outer gap( out1) becomes constant as they go outward.
