Abstract:

To provide a method of detoxifying a biocide harmful for aquatic lives and having no toxicity for aquatic lives measured in the case of measuring by photoluminescent bacterial assay.

This method is for detoxifying a biocide which is toxic for aquatic lives. In this method, the biocide is brought into contact with a water-soluble org. thiol compd. in an effective amt. for effective time to detoxify the biocide.
