PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make automatic adjustment possible for adjusting slippage in positions for cutting bags or slippage arising from change of operating parameters.
SOLUTION: The initial amount of feeding of a film f from the time of detecting an eye mark m up to the time of starting operation for transverse seal jaws 4, the initial amount of feeding of the film f up to meshing of the transverse seal jaws 4 and the reference amount of feeding of the film f up to meshing of the transverse seal jaws 4 are automatically adjusted by inputting the amount of slippage in positions for cutting formed bags or the amount of slippage in positions arising from changed operating parameters into a control circuit 10.
