Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR APPLYING BIOLOGICAL SIGNAL AS DEVICE CONTROL SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11203022
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a device which detects biological signals that can be consciously produced by a person, combining the biological signals with the selection signals to produce plural control signals and can operate an electronic equipment and a machinery by means of the control signals and without using the limbs.

The types and production method of biological signals which can be consciously produced by a person are previously obtained. A mounting tool 1 which consists of the electrodes 2 and an amplifier 3 and can be easily attached and detached is attached to the head of a person. The tool 1 detects and amplifies the biological signals, extracts a desired signal via a frequency analyzer, and compares the amplitudes and forms the waveforms via a comparing/forming device to produce a basic signal. Meanwhile, a selecting/synthesizing device produces plural selection signals to continue the intermittent outputs. A pilot lamp of a display 5 blinks by the selection signals, and these signals are put together with the basic signal into plural signals. These signals are converted into the control signals 7 by an output converter for the devices to be controlled. That is, if the biological signals are produced while the display of an operating object is on after observing the display 5, the signals 7 are sent to a specific terminal to operate various types of electronic equipments and machineries which are connected to the terminal.
