Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR BURNING SOLID PULVERIZED FUEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59122805
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve combustion efficiency and thermal efficiency, by a method wherein fuel density distribution in cross section of jet stream of solid pulverized fuel is made uneven, and a combustion speed is increased to form short flame.

CONSTITUTION: Each of divided passages, into which a fuel transport passage 13 is divided by dispersion vanes 13b, is formed such that, at the forward end of a burner, the upper half has a wider opening area and the lower half has narrower one. Since the plural dispersion vanes 13b are mounted thereto at uneven pitches, the upper half part and the lower half part of a burner differ from each other in draft resistance with the flow of mixture. Thus, distribution, in cross section of jet stream in a fuel chamber, of solid pulverized fuel, becomes uneven. This enables early ignition of the solid pulverized fuel, increases combustion speed, and reduces the completing time of combustion.
