PURPOSE: To enhance cleaning property in a cleaning process and to reduce the usage of thinner for cleaning by stopping rotation of a rotary atomization head in a standby stage until a rotary atomization coating machine is relatively moved to the position troubleless for cleaning after coating is finished and rerotating the rotary atomization head in a time for the following cleaning.
CONSTITUTION: Rotation of a rotary atomization head 3 is stopped in a standby stage until a rotary atomization coating machine is relatively moved to the position troubleless for cleaning after the rotary atomization coating machine is used and coating is finished. Volatilization of the solvent of coating material stuck to the rotary atomization head 3 is practicably controlled in the standby stage and claning in the following process is made extremely easy. Therefore cleaning time in the cleaning process is shortened and usage of thinner for cleaning is reduced.
