PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for coating with electrostatic powder which coats the outside whole surface of the material to be coated having a plate shape or a shape close to the plate shape by using a horizontal conveyance device such as a belt conveyor.
CONSTITUTION: A device for coating with electrostatic powder is provided with a horizontal conveyance device 20 conveying the material W to be coated in the lower part of a coating booth 1. A plurality of projectional supporting bodies 21 are provided on the surface of the horizontal conveyance 20 while holding intervals L. A vertically moving device 35 for separating the projectional supporting bodies 21 from the material W to be coated is provided in the separation areas 1A, 1B in the coating booth 1.
