PURPOSE: To obtain the ceramics spherical molded bodies having excellent circularities continuously at a low cost by dropping a slurry consisting of ceramics powder, monomer and dispersion solvent into a circulating liquid so as to obtain gels of it and separating, cleaning, and drying the obtained ceramics spherical molded bodies.
CONSTITUTION: A slurry consisting of ceramics powder, polymerizable monomer and dispersion solvent is stored in a slurry storage tank 1 and dropped into a liquid 7 in a reaction column 6 from a plurality of discharge nozzles 4 through a slurry supply conduit tube 3 by a quantitative pump 2. For the liquid 7, a liquid which does not mix with the slurry and has 0-0.1 of difference in specific gravity between the liquid and the slurry is used. A heating device 8 is attached to the reaction column 6 so as to regulate curing time. The shape of slurry drops in the liquid 7 are spherical by surface tension and sent to a separator 12 together with the liquid through a conduit tube 11. Further, they are sent to a cleaner 13 and a dryer 14 by a conveying device 15 so as to be degreased and sintered. As a result, spherical molded bodies having diameters of 30mm or less can be obtained.
